The Kaua`i Youth Honor Band is comprised of students from the middle and high school band programs on Kaua`i.  These students are nominated by their band director to participate.  They have intense rehearsals for one week and perform a concert with a renowned guest conductor.  Participation in the band allows students to learn challenging repertoire from different conductors.  Nominations happen during the middle of the spring semester and students perform with the Kaua`i Community College Wind Symphony on their Spring Concert.
