The Kaua`i Opio and Keiki Orchestra (KOKO) is under the direction of Mrs. Megan Lawson.  This is a brand new initiative that we are excited to bring the island.  None of the schools on the island of Kaua`i are able to host orchestra programs.  There is a desire for students to learn to play orchestral string instruments, but there are no opportunities unless a student can afford private lessons.  Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have two programs. One is for older students through the Boys and Girls Club Lihuʻe Clubhouse. The other is a PreK Beginning Violin Program that is community based.  We hope to expand island-wide within the next few years.
